99 Cents Only Stores celebrates National Giving Day by donating 99 reusable bags of food to 9 charity organizations in the Los Angeles area

CITY OF COMMERCE, Calif., Nov. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate Giving Tuesday, 99 Cents Only Stores will donate 99 reusable bags full of food to 9 different charity organizations on December 1st at the 99 Thanks Charity Exhibition. The following charities have been invited to receive the gift based on recommendations from the Los Angeles community:

1.    L.A. Food Bank
2.    AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA)
3.    My Friends House LA
4.    Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition (GWHFC)
5.    Para Los Ninos
6.    Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
7.    Door of Hope Community Center
8.    A Caring Obedient Restoring Educators Solutions (ACORE)
9.    Calvary Chapel Golden Springs

These organizations will be attending the event on Tuesday, December 1st, at the 99 Cents Only Stores headquarters in Commerce, California. Starting at 8:00AM, 99 Cents Only Stores team members, also known as "99ers," will be assembling the bags of food. The charities will arrive at 10:00AM to accept the donation where the 99 Cents Only Stores will recognize them for their good deeds and commend them for being an outstanding resource for our communities.
